Identification details
Earliest examples Lambretta 125 E models transformed into the F version by replacing the starter mechanism, the floorboards and the transmission casing. Frame number still carries letter E; later the lower stem was ground down to form the letter F. these examples habe yje same colour schemes and saddle colour as the 125 E.
Version I Apr-May 1954 Frames and saddles as the 125 E (with clipped horzontal springs), dark green saddle. A transitional model that according to the period of production may have the 125 E colour scheme with the basic Sand Beige paintwork or that of the version II, but again with Sand Beige paintwork.
Version II mid-1954 to end 1954 Saddle frames as for the 150D (fron saddle with chromed conical springs).
F version II (official designation) D-type front fork, raised handlebar, external HT coil and capacitor, headlamp bracket with steering lock fitting.
